The East Riding Petuaria Centre in Brough incorporates the Customer Service Network and a state of the art library facility.
The library is equipped with the latest self-service technology which enables customers to issue, return and renew their own library books and media. There are also computers in the IT suite offering free internet access with a separate browsing area for children.
Residents can also access all council services from the incorporated Customer Service Network helpdesks. For example they can view planning applications, obtain concessionary travel passes and gain advice on benefit and council tax matters. There is also a payment machine for collection of all council payments, Yorkshire Water and Kingston Communication bills.
Facility Supervisor Jackie Tate manages the team who are highly trained and able to deal with all council related and library enquiries.

Digital skills are essential to get involved in the modern world, from booking holidays, to accessing learning, checking when your bin will be emptied, to renewing your library books – the digital world opens a lot of doors to information and opportunities, and potentially great savings of both time and money. East Riding Libraries are delighted to be working with KCOM for this project as developing digital skills has been at the core of East Riding Libraries and KCOM's work to ensure everyone has the chance to access the opportunities and information they need.
