Brough & South Cave Practice Health Champions

The Practice Health Champions of Brough & South Cave are calling for members of the local community to join them at their new community groups.

The Champions Baking Buddies group is aimed to bring good food and good conversation together. Take your baking along to their monthly meetings at Brough Methodist Church Welcome Centre. Held on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 1:30-3:00 a great opportunity to swap, share and taste new recipes with old and new friends. Monthly themed events designed to get local people baking again!

Little Steps Young Mothers Group is held on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month at The Ferry Inn, Brough  at 11:00, a group created for a relaxed and informal morning to share your babies and toddlers milestones with other mothers. Led by our champion mums and grandparents using their life experience to support you as a new mother or mother to be.

Or if exercise is more your thing, come join our NEW Wellbeing Walk and Talk group, weekly walks from four venues in your community, led by champions to get you to put your best foot forward. 2 Mile walks taking in the local scenery and local history, come along and get back to enjoying exercise (more details below)
